"The Ghost and Christmas Past" is the Christmas episode episode of The Ghost & Mrs. Muir, aired in the show's second season. It originally aired on Christmas Day of 1969.

When Claymore (Charles Nelson Reilly) finds a possibly abandoned baby, events conspire to allow Captain Gregg (Edward Mulhare) to tell a mystical story not too far unlike Dickens' classic A Christmas Carol. The twist - everyone in the cast is part of the story, and Captain Gregg is no ghost, but alive and well, and out to romance Carolyn Muir (Hope Lange).
