"The Hearth's Warming Club" is the fourth and final Christmas episode of the animated series My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. It premiered as the fifteenth episode of the show's eighth season on Discovery Family on August 4, 2018,[1] while it was aired on Boomerang in Australia seventeen hours prior to the American premiere.[2]
Synopsis[]
While preparing for Hearth's Warming Eve, Twilight, Rainbow Dash, and Spike see a big splash of magical purple goo powder falling down on them by a mysterious figure. They head to the dorms of the students, with all of them asking what happened. Twilight states that whoever did the prank will have to stay over at the school for the break and do more friendship lessons. The students clean up the place, with Rainbow Dash pulling each one out of the room from time-to-time for questioning. During the clean-up, each student tells their story about how their culture celebrates the holidays. As time passes, none of them come forward of doing the prank, and fear sets in that all of them will never leave the school. It escalates into an argument until Gallus admits responsibility. As he says what he did to his classmates, Twilight, Rainbow Dash, and Spike enter the room. Twilight states that despite of being honest about the prank, Gallus still has to owe up to his actions. All of his classmates say they'll stay behind to accompany him, leading to Rainbow Dash saying they don't need friendship lessons, and Twilight invites the students to a holiday dinner.
