
Thurl Ravenscroft (February 6, 1914 – May 22, 2005) was an American actor, voice actor and bass singer known as the booming voice behind Kellogg's Frosted Flakes animated spokesman Tony the Tiger for more than five decades. He has also done work various Disney productions as an actor and solo performer or as part of The Mellomen, a vocal group.
He was also the uncredited vocalist for the song "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch" from the classic Christmas television special How the Grinch Stole Christmas!
Ravenscroft had recorded music alongside many artists like Bing Crosby, Elvis Presley, Andy Williams and Rosemary Clooney.
