A currently untitled Christmas special based on the BBC sitcom Gavin & Stacey was announced by James Corden through his social media channels on May 3, 2024. He stated that he and co-star Ruth Jones had completed writing the special, which will serve as the final episode of the series and will premiere on BBC One on Christmas Day.
