The Year Without a Santa Claus | 1974 | Vixen is prominently featured in this Rankin/Bass television special. She is depicted as the youngest reindeer on Santa's team, so much so that Santa feels that she is still just a baby. Mrs. Claus suggests that Jingle and Jangle take her with them on their journey to ask people if they believe in Santa Claus. Upon arriving in Southtown, they disguise Vixen as a dog, but she is soon captured by the local dog catcher and brought to the dog pound. Later, Santa himself arrives in Southtown, pays for Vixen's bail, and brings her back to the North Pole. |
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Movie | 1998 | Voiced by Lee Tockar. |
