Winnie the Pooh, also called Pooh Bear, is the main character of the Winnie the Pooh books by A. A. Milne and their animated adaptations by Disney. He is a sentient teddy bear who lives in the Hundred Acre Wood, based on a real-life teddy bear owned by Milne's son Christopher Robin (who inspired the character of the same name). Pooh is known for being a bear of very little brain, but is generally very kind and friendly towards everyone.
